  4. Good night stories for Rebel Girls - I give this book to every baby and young girl. Beautifully rendered & researched, full of the most inspiring role models.
  5. Motherhood A Life's Work by Rachel Cusk - Motherhood is so terribly glorified , I recommend this book to everybody for a quirky, humorous & oh so serious examination of the life consuming demands of motherhood
  6. The Bloody Chamber by Angela Carter - relook at fairy tales we have been told for startling new perspectives of people , their motives and how what you see maybe quite different from what you get.

  8. I Don't know how she does it by Allison Pearson - Bridget Jones for Mommies, this book saved me ! Specially during the years yummy mummies looked askance at my sartorial sloppiness. Fun , serious and full of laughs
9. Handmaid's Tale - now super famous with the Netflix series - still worth a read
10. Lean in - all objections of privilege aside, this is a cult book you can't ignore.
